About Limerick...
Limerick sailed her first Port Huron to Mac back in 1984, after my father, Art Cope saw the beautiful S.2 10.3 on the showroom floor and bought her from Jack Morman. Limerick has been competing in DRYA and the Port Huron to Mac since, and has won quite a few flags over the years including Boat of the Year and 6 Mac flags. In 1991 she won overall on the Cove Island course, beating out many very fast boats, includeing Sassy. We continue to enjoy racing as a family and this year my son Jon will be sailing his 2nd Mac on the boat. For his first race last year he was treated to a 2nd Overall flag.
