AVATAR, owned by the Morlans since 1987, is actively raced on Lake St. Clair. This is her twenty-fourth Port Huron to Mackinac Race. Three original crew members of the 1987 crew remain including Old Goat and skipper Gordon Morlan. Avatar finished first in class and second overall in the Shore Division in the 2004 Port Huron to Mackinac Race.
