About Twisted...
Twisted was born in France in 1984 into the one design world of 1-tonners. When it retired from the one design class it was donated to the Naval Academy where it was renamed Phantom. After three years it was sold and raced in the Detroit area under the name of Player. The boat currently sails out of Bay City, Michigan. The owners are 71 and 64 respectively and both are Old Goats. This year we have 3 father-son combinations out of 10 crew. We also have a son of a racer on another boat.
