About FreeWay...
FreeWay, launched in 1972, has been owned by the Carlson family since 1989. Between the current Freeway and the original, a Chance 32/28, we've amassed two firsts, two seconds, and a third place in the BYC Mac Race. The crew has a total of 147 BYC Mac Races between them, nearly all of these sailed on the FreeWay. We're dedicating this years race to our dear friend and crew member Gerry Kollar.
