Registration is OPEN for the 20th running of the Bayview Women-On-Water.

To celebrate the milestone year, Bayview Yacht Club is offering a variety of options throughout the weekend: an optional point-to-point Fleet Race on Friday night, hands-on Match Racing Clinic with Dawn Riley on Saturday, windward-leeward racing on Bayview’s Ultimate 20s on Sunday morning and wrapping up with a point-to-point Fleet Race Sunday afternoon.

Of course, there will also be plenty of social activities and spectating from the Club lawn.
Apply/register for one or all activities or just come down to enjoy the onshore fun. Below is a list of event details for the weekend.

Friday, August 18th
Crew Coordination for the Edison Boat Club Race
Boat Call at 5:30 p.m. ET This is a local DRYA Race.
If you are a guest and would like assistance finding a crew position, we are here to help. Post-race awards and party at BYC will be open to participants and guests. Note: If you are bringing your boat from out of town for the WOW Sunday race and want to race Friday, let us know and we’ll help you register. Crew placements will be based upon experience and crew openings available. Fee of $20

Saturday, August 19th
Match Racing Clinic and Racing with Dawn Riley
Only 32 Spots! 
9 a.m. -5 p.m. ET
Classroom instruction, on-the-water coaching, and racing.
Boat assignments will be made based upon skill level/experience and boat availability. Note that while you do not need match racing experience, this is a hands-on, fast-paced event in sporty boats – some knowledge of sailing and boat handling is strongly encouraged. Bayview will be open to participants following the day’s events.
Fee of $125 until July 3, after: $140.

Sunday, August 20th
Ultimate 20 One Design Windward/Leeward Racing
Only 8 U20s available!
10 a.m. ET Warning Signal
Want to try your hand at quick, fast-paced races with a focus on starts, boat-handling, and river tactics? Pull together a crew and sign up for the U20 racing portion of this year’s WOW. Acceptance will be based upon availability of boats and skipper experience. U20 Club Boat waiver form will be required for all participants. A $1,000 boat deposit is required per skipper. Team/Skipper Entry Fee of $50
